OAHHS and its member hospitals are recognizing National Patient Safety Awareness week through March 10. This initiative of the National Patient Safety Foundation is an annual education and awareness campaign for health care safety.
We got a great kick-start to the week with a feature story from OPB. Reporter Kristian Foden-Vencil interviewed Diane Waldo, OAHHS’ director of quality and clinical services, and health care providers at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center to see what their staff is doing to reduce medical mistakes by 40 percent.
