KMTR News in Springfield ran a feature story today on Briar, a 6-year-old Welsh springer spaniel, and her owner Ginger Nickel, who are a certified pet therapy team. They volunteer once a week at Sacred Heart Medical Center Riverbend, making rounds, visiting staff and patients, and spreading cheer.
